Industry Notification: ISI / BIS Certification

Implementation of Amendment No. 1 Extended for Composite Cement IS 16415:2015

The Bureau of Indian Standards has extended the deadline for implementing Amendment No.1 to IS 16415:2015, which addresses 'Composite Cement.' This extension follows the circulation of guidelines through CMD-III circular ref: CMD-III/16: IS 16415 dated 19 May 2023. Initially, the deadline for implementation was set for 09 Aug 2023 but was later extended to 09 Feb 2024. Taking into account feedback from stakeholders and the current status of implementation, it has been decided to further extend the deadline to 09 November 2024. The terms and conditions specified in the CMD-III circular dated 19 May 2023 remain unchanged. It is imperative for all relevant Branch Offices (BOs) to promptly notify all licensees and applicants about this revised deadline and ensure that compliance with Amendment No.1 to IS 16415:2015 is achieved by 09 November 2024.
