Industry Notification: EPR Authorization

Urgent Notice for E-waste producers to fulfil EPR Obligation for financial year 2023-24 before 31st March 2024.

An urgent notice has been issued for E-waste producers regarding their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations for the financial year 2023-24. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has notified that all producers must fulfil their assigned EPR obligations by purchasing an equivalent quantity of EPR Certificates from registered recyclers. In compliance with this directive, all producers are directed to fulfil their EPR obligations for the financial year 2023-24 by March 31, 2024. Producers are also required to submit their Quarterly & Annual reports on the portal within the stipulated timelines as per the Rules outlined by the MoEF&CC.
