Industry Notification: ISI / BIS Certification

Extension Order for Refillable Seamless Steel Gas Cylinders – Quenched and Tempered Steel Cylinders

The Central Marks Department has issued a circular announcing the extension of the deadline for implementing Amendment No. 1 to Refillable Seamless Steel Gas Cylinders – Quenched and Tempered Steel Cylinders With Tensile Strength Less Than 1100 Mpa (112 Kgf/Mm2) - IS 7285 (Part 2):2017. This extension has been approved by the Competent Authority, and all branch offices are required to notify the licensees and applicants within their jurisdiction. The new deadline for ensuring compliance with Amendment No. 1 to IS 7285 (Part 2):2017 is now set for June 2, 2025. All relevant parties are urged to take note of this change and to make the necessary preparations to meet the revised implementation date.
