Extension of Enforcement Date for IS 4409 Quality Control Order, 2024

According to the Gazette Notification of the Steel & Steel Products (Quality Control) Order 2024 issued on February 5th, 2024, and a subsequent order dated February 9th, 2024, the enforcement date pertaining to the Indian Standard IS 4409:2023, specifying the requirements for Ferronickel, is hereby extended further. This extension, as detailed below, grants an additional period for compliance:

Specification for Ferronickel (IS 4409:2023) - Extended by 03 months, i.e., July 23rd, 2024.

This extension provides stakeholders within the steel industry with an extended timeframe to align their processes and products with the stipulated quality control measures outlined in the specified Indian Standard.
